This GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VII sneaker remakes the outsole into a contemporary Chelsea boot.This design halos TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.’s design ethos by creating elements that seem to include symbolism,but don’t and vice versa.The inspiration for using a Chelsea boot’s upper stems from TheSoloist’s designer,Miyashita’s admiration of The Beatles,who famously wore the sleek boot silhouette in the 1960s.This shoe’s upper is formed with a polished leather construction that’s met with suede accents on the heel and pull-tabs.Meanwhile,the stretch webbing around the anklearea rounds out the boot’s classic construction influences.
