HAL Studios revisits the GEL-1130™ sneaker for their second collaborative project with ASICS.This iteration draws inspiration from Japan’s lush forests and the Shinto shrines found within them.The upper’s earthy color palette is met with a mixture of shaggy suede,leather,and mesh paneling that mimics the forest’s terrestrial tones.Meanwhile,the hunter-orange accents pay homage to the appearance of the Shinto shrines.Lastly,his retro runner’s tooling is remixed for the streets,featuring GEL™ technology in the heel for a comfortable feel underfoot.
